Hot Toddy popping by on Jan 28th plus mixtape!!

In our opinion the January blues are rather overrated, having spent 3 weeks on the Atkins diet, it’s time to rip up that gym membership, hop off that wagon again and head to the Horse & Groom for a guaranteed January blues buster of a night. Our special guest this time round is none other than Hot Toddy

Chris Todd is best known as the writer, producer, guitarist, keyboard player and general knob twiddler for legendary live act Crazy P. He also moonlights under the solo production moniker Hot Toddy. Having released the rather stunning Late Night Boogie LP on Om offshoot Smoke ‘n’ Mirrors, an album that touches on elements of disco, boogie, jazz and funk, and contains a couple of collaborations with Crazy P singer Danielle Moore to boot. When it comes to remix duties he’s also in demand with his take on Joey Negros’ ‘Why’ getting props across the board and an incestuous re-working of Crazy P becoming an instant dance-floor destroyer. We thought it was high time we had Chris down to grace the boards of the Horse & Groom and ask him to kindly help us throw a party so good even Larry Levan would approve

Drunken support on the night coming from residents Charlie Watson & James Hayward, filling theirs and your boots with Disco & House treats till late!

Definitely not one to be missed. xx
