Chistmas throwdown with the Bicep boys

Hello all, Christmas is fast approaching, so we thought we'd enter into the spirit of things with a bit of a shindig, check out our festive artwork (!)

Joining Charlie and Aaron for the Shameless Disco Xmas Throwdown at the Horse & Groom will be the chaps known within the sweaty confines of the discothèque as Bicep. With a debut release on the excellent Throne Of Blood imprint about to drop, we thought the time was nigh to invite Andy and Matt down and get them to slap on some records.

Having released a couple of edits and a 12" in the past, their debut for TOB – the label run by uber cool New York cowbell botherers The Rapture - should ensure they come with the attached prefix “ones to watch” in 2011. Those in the know will also be enamoured with the charms of their influential Feel My Bicep blog, which has gathered a worldwide following. Their music oozes deepness and betrays an encyclopaedic knowledge of classic house, disco and techno – a perfect fit for the Shameless Horse & Groom parties, then.

The motto on the night will be ‘anything goes’ – expect to be spilling your mulled wine with delight as the Bicep boys flex their muscles by digging deep into their record crates for a night of festive abandon.
