Hot Toddy popping by on Jan 28th plus mixtape!!

In our opinion the January blues are rather overrated, having spent 3 weeks on the Atkins diet, it’s time to rip up that gym membership, hop off that wagon again and head to the Horse & Groom for a guaranteed January blues buster of a night. Our special guest this time round is none other than Hot Toddy

Chris Todd is best known as the writer, producer, guitarist, keyboard player and general knob twiddler for legendary live act Crazy P. He also moonlights under the solo production moniker Hot Toddy. Having released the rather stunning Late Night Boogie LP on Om offshoot Smoke ‘n’ Mirrors, an album that touches on elements of disco, boogie, jazz and funk, and contains a couple of collaborations with Crazy P singer Danielle Moore to boot. When it comes to remix duties he’s also in demand with his take on Joey Negros’ ‘Why’ getting props across the board and an incestuous re-working of Crazy P becoming an instant dance-floor destroyer. We thought it was high time we had Chris down to grace the boards of the Horse & Groom and ask him to kindly help us throw a party so good even Larry Levan would approve

Drunken support on the night coming from residents Charlie Watson & James Hayward, filling theirs and your boots with Disco & House treats till late!

Definitely not one to be missed. xx

Hello! Shameless Disco's first blog entry plus details of our biggest party to date!!!

Hello hello hello, welcome to our new little venture. I'm new to this blogging game and seeing as every man and his dog seems to have one i'm going to try and keep this as short as possible. For various reasons our website is no more - i won't go into the details but it got messy.

I'm going to try and keep this updated as much as i can but it's just a way for us to keep anyone who is interested in what we're up up to speed with any develops in the world of Shameless Disco. We'll also try and put you on to some of the records that are floating our boat as well. Be it deep house, disco or techno we love it all and will try and share some of it with you

For those of you who are new to what we're about, Shameless Disco is a roving club night based in London's East End. Our main aim is to bring a mix of the freshest Disco, House & Techno djs and producers around alongside some heavyweight names along the way. We've been fortunate enough to play host to a wealth of talent over the past 8 months and long may that continue. Our past guests include Matt Walsh, Ben Rymer, Chamboche, Matt Waites, Stopmakingme, Tronic Youth.

Right, there's the back ground - here's what we're really here to talk about. What's coming up. Well, we've got something really cool only a week away. The cowbell kings In Flagranti are coming to town. Sasha has been slaying dance floors across the globe for years now and we're super excited to have him down for our biggest party yet. Sam Williams, ala Chamboche has put out some devastating records on the UnderTheShade imprint over the past year. The Revenge's remix of his track 'Ipso Facto' was quite possibly one of my favourite tunes of last year. Sam is also a Shameless Disco veteran and his set was so memorable last time round we asked him back for this one. As I said this is shaping up to be our biggest party yet. Come on down and join us at 333 in Shoreditch, email shamelessdisco@gmail.com for concession list. Bye for now
