October sees us welcome back one of Shameless Disco’s favourite sons to the snug confines of the Horse & Groom. Chamboche is his name, and following a breakthrough year in 2009 he’s about to kick into overdrive with a new slab of wax due out on Under The Shade later this month (with a remix from NYC house dons Runaway if you don’t mind). For those of you yet to be acquainted with the Nottingham based producer, here’s a quick run down of his nascent career: Expolodes onto the scene in 2009. Tim Sweeney declares his love on Beats In Space. The Revenge remixes one of his tracks. Returns with killer 12” in early 2010. Even bigger things to follow.
Supporting on the night will be Giulio DJ, who we stumbled across after his recent EP for Elevator People that gave our ears the aural equivalent of a multiple orgasm. A bit of light Facebook stalking later and we found out he lives in London and naturally booked him to play at our party.
Of course the regular toerags (Charlie Watson and Aaron Coultate of Juno Records) will bookend the night with some tasty disco and house business, meaning the Horse & Groom on October 15 is the place to be.
