Well we've been slack again, sorry but just to keep you up to speed with what went on in September, here's what we had to say. This truly was one of the best nights we've done. FACT.
Hot on the heels of the Andy Blake blowout over the August bank holiday, we are DELIGHTED to announce that Mister Saturday Night (aka Eamon Harkin and Justin Carter) will be playing a three hour set at the September edition of Shameless Disco.
Eamon and Justin run the now legendary Sunday Best parties in New York. But what, I hear you ask, makes these parties so special anyway? Put it this way: the most recent party was headline ...by Glaswegian duo Optimo, who dropped their namesake track by Liquid Liquid whilst Sal P (the Liquids' frontman) happened to be dancing right next to the DJ booth. He was handed him the mic and the rest is history. That's just one chapter in the Sunday Best story - other past guests include Theo Parrish, Floating Points, Kyle Hall, Omar S, DJ Harvey and loads more. It’s all happening on Friday, September 17 and East London’s best music boozer, the Horse & Groom. And yes, we’ll be bringing a mic just in case.
