Come see Jacques Renault in a little pub in East London on 1st April

The April edition of Shameless Disco sees New Yorker Jacques Renault flying in from the Big Apple for a night of sweat-drenched disco and house.
For those yet to be enamoured with the musical charms of JR, his 2010 remix of Midnight Magic’s “Beam Me Up” was so good it became accompanied by a permanent ‘summer anthem’ prefix, while his On The Prowl imprint (launched with co-conspirator Marcos Cabral) has served as a neat conduit for showcasing Runaway productions and unearthing gems such as NYC freestyle artist Corinne.

When not releasing original records as one half of Runaway, Mr. Renault enjoys unleashing edits upon the world, gladly steering clear of anything too obvious and regularly exploring outside of the disco realm.

Above all, anyone who has seen him DJ will have left with a smile ear to ear – his energetic style and peerless song selection makes him a prime candidate to rock the low ceiling upstairs sweatpit of the Horse & Groom.
